About

I'm a student and I learn by building: robots I design, 3D print and put together myself.

Projects

My early days with technology

2010–2015

Technology and robotics have fascinated me since I was very little. My first games were on the iPad, in apps my dad made, and I always wanted to try any new gadget that came into the house: tablets, laptops or a pair of smart glasses.

Robotis Dream Lvl 1

2015

Robotis Dream Level 1 is a beginner educational robotics kit: following the manual, you build robots and mechanisms from pieces, gears and a small motor. I built a cat, a windmill and a fan that actually spun. I had a great time building them, sometimes with my sister and sometimes on my own.

Robotis Dream Lvl 2

2015

After finishing Level 1 I was really eager to build more, so I was overjoyed when my dad gave me Level 2. This kit has more pieces and more complex motorised models: I built a cow, a duck, a kangaroo, a ladybird and even a car with wheels.

Robotis Darwin Mini

2017

Robotis Darwin Mini is a small humanoid robot with a servomotor in every joint: it can walk and dance, and you control it from your phone. My dad bought it to try out at the office, and when he brought it home I took it apart and rebuilt the whole thing on my own, piece by piece.

BattleBots Project

2025–2026

As my end-of-year project in the first year of Bachillerato (sixth form), I teamed up with a group from my class to build a robot that would then battle the rest of the robots in our year. We built it from scratch, with servomotors and parts we designed and 3D printed ourselves, and after all our hard work we finished in 2nd place.

SO-ARM101 Pro - Robotic Arm

In progress

An open-source robotic arm designed for Hugging Face's LeRobot: a “leader” arm you move by hand and a “follower” arm that copies your movements, to teach the robot tasks by imitation. I'm just getting started with it.
